LO4 - Final Audio and Visual Promo

LO2 - Corruption Phase Storyboards

This will be the opening scenes that will show the graffiti covered street that will help set the tone for the film, this will connote to the audience the cold gritty feel we are trying to show the audience. The cut after this will be the first glimpse that we get of the protaganist it will be a low angle of Daniels shoes while he is running, this will help denote suspense and make the person viewing this wonder who this mysterious character is and possibly spark questions within the viewers mind such as "who is this character?" and "is he good or bad?".

The next cut will be a point of view shot of daniel running, he will be breathing heavilly and will show the audience just how internse this film will be. This may help put the audience will feel like they are daniel in a way.  This will also be out of focus as we will want to show how out of breath and tired he is. The next scene will be showing Daniel running away from a threat to help show that this film will be many focused on a disequibrium world. We intend on starting the trailer off like this because we want to help set the tone for the entire film.

LO2 - Corruption Phase script

GRAFFITI COVERED STREET

Trailer begins with a pan of a graffiti covered street (2 seconds)

DANIEL is running away from his pursuers. (3 seconds)

DANIEL is hiding behind a wall breathing heavily. (3 seconds)

 DANIEL takes out his phone dials a number whilst also surveying his surroundings. (3 seconds)

DANIEL

“We need to talk.”  (Over the top of previous footage)

CUT TO BLACK 

Title Sequence: Logo (5 seconds)

FADE TO 

Daniel on the phone, listening to his friend

DANIEL’S FRIEND

“Looks like they’re coming for you.” (Throws phone away)  (4 seconds)

STREET.

After he is notified of this, DANIEL notices the people following him from a distance. (7 seconds) Low Key lighting and shallow depth of field used here

FADE TO

DANIEL phones up someone

DANIEL

I'm going to be about an hour late. (6 seconds)

GATES OUTSIDE DANIEL'S OFFICE
DANIEL'S FRIEND goes through the gates outside DANIEL's office. DANIEL walks past the same location after his friend just left and picks up. DANIEL is shown to pick up a envelope which DANIELS friend left, providing photographs and background checks on the people they think are after him. (7 seconds)

Cut to

GARAGE
First person shot from the perspective of someone in some kind of garage on the ground, DANIEL looking at person holding knife

DANIEL

“I don’t wanna do this...”

DANIEL kneels down and takes a stab to a cut to black. (7 seconds)

(Close quarters location, DANIEL running down the corridor.)

DANIEL'S OFFICE CAR PARK
DANIEL is running away at a fast pace and he arrives at a car and it switches from DANIEL turning the key, revs the engine and changes the gear.  As soon as DANIEL turns the key, the radio turns on and the music begins playing.  (4 seconds)

(Shot reverse shot) (2 seconds)

It is then shown on DANIEL’S car dashboard, an envelope.
